Better sustainability
Sustainability is a word that is being used extensively these years and there is also a tendency for the word to become inflated and thereby lose some of its original meaning and value. Many use the word more in terms of marketing and unfortunately there are also many cases of greenwashing.
For us, sustainability is a focus area and not just a word. Our contribution to a better world according to the UN global goals is in 3 areas and based on the following.
Recycled materials
Our products are made from up to 100% recycled materials. Most are around 90%. By using recycled materials, we avoid producing new materials and therefore with less CO2 emission.
Natural materials
Our Ecoscrubcleaning pads are made from 50% coconut shells, which is a natural materialand the rest is recycled polyester. The advantage of using natural materials is that energy does not have to be used to make synthetic materials. In addition, our cleaning pads are washable and can be reused and are therefore more environmentally friendly.
Long lifespan –less consumption
One of the biggest reasons is increased consumption in a modern world. Too many products are made in poor quality and often need to be replaced. This also applies to the traditional toilet brush, which in many places is replaced every 3-6 months.
