Sanimaid toilet cleaner reviews

Mie says:

"... Installed without screws, meaning no holes in the wall, and we could hang it up immediately."

“We saw the product for the first time in the “Lion’s Cave” TV show (Danish equivalent to Dragon’s Den), where I think the toilet brush was mega smart – mainly because of the high hygiene. Already at that time we talked about at home that you should get one – so when it was to be tested here in the Test family we had no doubt that we wanted to join – we are pretty excited! Like most families with children, we have a pretty busy day, so cleaning must be efficient and easy!

"It is also drip-free, which is especially smart when handled by children."

We had therefore ordered the wall-hung model “Paris”, which is both space-saving and thus making it easier to clean around the toilet. When we received the toilet brush we found that it could be installed without screws, meaning no holes in the wall, and we could hang it up immediately!

The toilet brush was easy to hang – 24 hours after we glued the base to the wall. As it is clicked onto a base, the box where the toilet brush hangs can be removed and cleaned. It is just something for me who works as a nurse and therefore goes a long way in hygiene. Currently I am on maternity leave, but I would definitely suggest my workplace to replace the traditional toilet brushes with Sanimaids (it can be cleaned in autoclave, which is smart).

"... Solves the headaches traditional brushes have always given us bacterially frightened nurses."

The toilet brush is easy to take in and out of the “holder” which closes completely when the toilet brush is replaced after use. Our daughter Filippa, barely four years old, can handle the brush herself – you might as well start early to teach the little kids about hygiene. Because the toilet brush is not actually a brush – but rather a toilet “cleaner” with a dirt-repellent surface, paper and leftovers will not get stuck in the “cleaning head”. I think it would be ideal for most public toilets where you can experience some pretty clumsy toilet brushes!

It is also drip-free, which is especially smart when handled by children. So there is a good basis for good toilet hygiene with Sanimaid’s brush, because it reduces the spread of bacteria! Well, Just bounce it down in the basin a few times to drain off excess water before putting it in place – just like you would with a traditional toilet brush – the difference is that in most cases, the traditional drips on the floor anyway! This one does not.”

Mie's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD.
Cleaning and good hygiene are a big part of our everyday life, so the products are clearly useful. The toilet brush solves the headaches traditional brushes have always given us bacterially frightened nurses.

Quality: VERY GOOD.
The toilet brush seems to be of good quality and is easy to keep clean and clean with a cloth, due to its hygienic design.

Price: VERY GOOD
We think you get a lot of good properties for the that price – and at the same time they are so reasonably priced that you can change the products if you think hygiene should be extra good! Or if you just want a new color 🙂

Karina tells:

"Sanimaid has a beautiful design, and is a toilet brush you are not embarrassed to have hanging on in your toilet."

“I’ve tested a Sanimaid toilet brush. Toilet brush may not be something you associate with design and deliciousness. That’s why it was an exciting and different test to accept.

One of the most disgusting things there is, is a used toilet brush that drips and is unsanitary. But it is also one of the things that is quite difficult to do if you want a neat and clean toilet. Sanimaid has a beautiful design and is a toilet brush you are not embarrassed to have hanging in your toilet. And the hang of it is now quite smart when you have toddlers in the house who sometimes overthrows the toilet brush and water flows all over the floor, we have tried it a few times over time.

"... Good ergonomic grip on the brush and does not come into contact with the toilet itself."

Sanimaid is super easy to mount on the wall and there is a detailed description with. One part must be attached to the wall with 3M tape, and then the entire holder must be clicked on top and in it the toilet brush can stand / hang. pretty smart, so you don’t have to drill holes in the wall. There are 3 different models, the one we tested is the one called Paris. And it costs around 200 DKK. It is available in 5 different colors.

"Clearly a toilet brush we will use in the future."

We have become really happy with the toilet brush and it works really well. There is no water droplet in the holder and the toilet brush does not get nasty at all. Neither toilet paper nor other nasty cases can get stuck in the holder. The brush has a long shaft, which provides a good ergonomic grip on the brush and does not come into contact with the toilet itself. Clearly a toilet brush we will use in the future.

Karina's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
A clean and neat toilet requires a toilet brush

Quality: GOOD
Sanimaid toilet brush lasts a lot longer than a regular toilet brush as it can be cleaned and is more hygienic.

Price: GOOD
DKK 200 But then the brush is also a lot more practical than a regular toilet brush.

Marck explains:

"... The antibacterial effect ensures a minimal risk of spreading bacteria. ”

“First of all, I would like to commend the design of the brush, it is simple and beautifully designed, as well as easy to mount on a wall, with the double-sided tape, on the back.

It is a smart, modern designed toilet brush with no hair that can reach both well around the toilet, as well as right up the back where the toilet water runs out, where a normal toilet brush is limited.

"... Can reach both well around the toilet, as well as right up the back where the toilet water runs out, where a normal toilet brush is limited."

The soft brush material of the toilet brush cleans easily and efficiently and works on the same principle as the wipers on cars. For stubborn impurities, the toilet brush’s rubbing ribs are used. It is water and dirt repellent and clean after use, while the antibacterial effect ensures a minimal risk of spreading bacteria.”

Marck's assessment:

Usability:  VERY GOOD
A toilet brush is well needed in most homes

Quality: VERY GOOD
Nothing to complain about.

Price: GOOD
Quality and price are related.

Trine tells:

“Let’s be honest. A toilet brush is often neither very nice nor something you spend a lot of money on. It has some very clear needs / requirements that it must fulfill in my world. It should be able clean off things in the toilet bowl you do not want the next in the line to look at. We also all know that it is not the most delicious when there are “leftovers” on it or that there drops “residue” from it when you put back in its holder.

We just renovated the bathroom for a lot of money, so I was really happy when I saw the design of the one we tested- Paris, it was named.

"The best thing about it, besides the neat design, is that it doesn't drip...."

There are nice colors to choose from (neutral, muted) and a mega smart click-on system so it can easily be mounted on the wall. The brush itself is a bit like a cake tart, flat with a handle on it. The handle is ergonomic and it also fits well in the hand. The best thing about it, besides the neat design, is that it doesn’t drip when you put it back in the container. I can’t promise that nothing will be left at all, but the container is completely dry and free of water, unlike all the others we’ve ever had.

"It really is the nicest toilet brush I've ever owned."

In terms of appearance, it gets 5 stars, especially because of the price, which is perfectly fair in terms of how much money I have given for branded brushes in the past. Functionally, it is also really nice, as it lies well in the hand and can remove most. I write mostly because we felt that it could push the “remains” around the basin. It was necessary to rub extra hard occasionally. Of course, we also tested how effective it is in cleaning with detergents. Here’s the same challenge. It is nice and neat, but leaves little to be desired as to how effective it is in the “head” cleaning itself. For everyday needs, it fully meets expectations.”

Trine's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
Everyone needs a toilet brush, even if you don’t talk about it.

Quality: VERY GOOD
And here I will add design. It really is the nicest toilet brush I’ve ever owned. It lies well in the hand and is robust and of good quality.

Price: GOOD
It costs DKK 199 at Silvan, and it’s really ok when you think about the look of Sanimaid versus the cheap ones for DKK 10.

Nadja tells:

“I first saw this smart toilet brush in the Lion’s Cave TV show (Danish equivalent to Dragon’s Den), and have since had it in the back of my mind as an opportunity to replace the ordinary toilet brushes at home. No matter how you twist it, toilet brushes just aren’t delicious. If you can remedy this a bit, it’ll be great!

"... The long durability and the opportunity to clean it as well as the good hygiene definitely makes it worth the money!"

As mentioned on the packaging, the award-winning toilet brush from Sanimaid is drip-free, and there is no old water in the holder, which you can often experience with ordinary toilet brushes. Nor do you feel that toilet paper remains in the holder.

It is smart that it is hung on the wall, so the cleaning around it is easy, but it is actually also available as a floor model if you prefer. The handle is ergonomic and extra long and thus also much more hygienic. At the same time, it is nice and stylish to look at. It is definitely a toilet brush, which should be considered if you are tired of the usual type of toilet brush!”

Nadja's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
A toilet brush is a must in any home!

quality: VERY GOOD
These are really good quality toilet brushes and have a very long shelf life.

Price: GOOD
Of course, the toilet brushes are more expensive than regular toilet brushes, but the long durability and the opportunity to clean it as well as the good hygiene make it definitely worth the money! Has been viewed online down to 109 kroner.

Linda tells:

“Did i think I should ever test a toilet brush … NO!” Nevertheless, in the last few months, together with the Test family, I have tested a – for me – new kind of toilet brush.

”The hygienic toilet "brush" is 99.9% germ-free and the design itself allows you to get all the way around the toilet."

In reality, it is not a brush at all, at least not, as we usually know a toilet brush with the stiff “hair” that cleans the toilet. Sanimaid’s brush head is made of a soft and flexible material.

The hygienic toilet “brush” is 99.9% germ-free and the design itself allows you to get all the way around the toilet. It is water repellent so that “toilet residue” does not get stuck, and further there is no water dripping. There is, no sewer-like odor occurring in the brush holder.

The toilet cleaner is available in 3 different models – Paris, Oslo and Boston. I have had the pleasure of the Paris model in black, which I think has a simple and beautiful expression.

"my skepticism has turned to pure enthusiasm. Not only do I love the simple design, but also the functionality."

It is wall hung and comes with strong tape on the back so it can easily be hung up. It is also possible to screw it up – where the container can easily be clicked off when cleaning.

Verdict: I was a bit skeptical when I said yes to testing the product. Most of all, because you are so used to the traditional toilet brush. But after a little getting used to it, I must say that my skepticism has turned to pure enthusiasm. Not only do I love the simple design, but also the functionality. No dripping, no “barely so delicious” water in the container and absolutely effective.”

Linda's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
You can hardly do without a toilet brush for the daily cleaning of the toilet.

Quality: GOOD
So far, I’m pretty happy with durability.
I experience a product in delicious design and material – it does not feel “cheap”.

Price: VERY GOOD
It is priced between £ 12 – £ 24 which I think is a fair price for the product.

Anne says:

“After seeing Sanimaid toilet brush in the Lion’s Den TV show (Danish equivalent to Dragon’s Den), we had to test whether it keeps its promises.

And yes, it does !!! Not only does the award-winning toilet brush remove the scratches in the porcelain, but no sticky residue is subsequently stuck to the rubber head, as on a regular toilet brush.

"99.9% bacteria free. A huge plus with toddlers in the house."

Therefore, it is also one of the reasons why, the Sanimaid toilet brush is also 99.9% bacteria free. A huge plus with toddlers in the house. But another reason is that the rubber head is water-repellent so there is minimal water dripping after a walk in the toilet. Its shape makes it easy to clean up under the toilet bowl and therefore ensures a complete cleaning of the toilet every time.

"... The Sanimaid toilet brush lasts much longer"

We have tested the model Paris. Which is in a simple design for wall mounting. So one is also free to have it standing on the floor. It fits super easily, with double-sided tape and an easy click function. And then it comes in the colors: White with gray head, Dark Gray with gray head. And it has a mega smart function, when you put it back in the holder, the holder clicks itself into place – an easy close function !!! Brilliant …

Trine's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
EVERYONE needs a toilet brush, so why not choose one that secures a clean toilet every time.

Quality: VERY GOOD
Immediately no complaints about the durability, and it is used a few times a day, with a family of 4. A regular toilet brush is often replaced, but the Sanimaid toilet brush lasts much longer. Mostly because it doesn’t get damp.
Good grip and Ergonomic good due to the longer shaft.

Price: VERY GOOD – guide Price is 129, – Which is a nice price, for a product that works, with a long life span

Nora tells:

“Everyone knows about the traditional toilet brush, where paper or stool residues are stuck in the brush, which is virtually impossible to clean, and you have to live with the sight until you replace the brush.” When I was introduced to the Sanimaid Universe, I simply couldn’t help but agree to the collaboration and test the super hygienic toilet brush. In reality, it is not a brush as it has no hair, but the purpose is the same.

"The handle itself is antibacterial and 99.9% free of bacteria, reducing the risk of bacteria and infection being transported."

Do you shudder a little every time you bring out the traditional toilet brush, which drips down to the floor, to the toilet as the container is filled with water – then Sanimaid has the solution to the problem. For it is drip-free and without stool residues to look for use. The handle itself is antibacterial and 99.9% free of bacteria, reducing the risk of bacteria and infection being transported.

"It is more hygienic and can be used for a long time before it needs a replacement. Quality is top notch."

I love the different and modern design that the brush has, and then it is just more discreet than the traditional brush as it is closed completely inside the container. The Sanimaid brush is available in several designs, and the one we tested at home is called “Paris” and is available in several different colors.

We chose it in black as we think it will be less visible in that color as our bathroom is gray. Attached to the container is a small part which is self-adhesive on one side – this side attach to the wall and the container can be fastened to. It’s SO smart and you avoid screwing them on the wall, so they can be easily replaced. video on Sanimaid’s website.”

Nora's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD

Everyone benefits from the product and it fits into any home. The Sanimaid brush is also age-friendly, with an ergonomic, long handle.

Quality: VERY GOOD – The Sanimaid brush is by no means as dirty and disgusting as the traditional brush. It is more hygienic and can be used for a long time before it needs a replacement. Quality is top notch. Easy to get it in and out of the hard plastic container, as well as a hard rubber brush that can hold a little of each.

Price: GOOD
When you look at the quality of the products, the durability and the efficiency, the price is no matter. The price varies from 169 kr. for 250 kr. Depending on which dealer you find it at. A regular toilet brush should be replaced often, as there are residues that spread quickly. Sanimaid is enclosed inside the container where no residue can accumulate as it is drip-free, thus saving you money in the long run as it can be used longer.

Sanimaid microfiber cloth reviews

Trine tells:

“We received two microfober cloths from Sanimad. we already own a few cloths, som my expectations were not very high.

"Microfiber cloths are indispensable in every home."

Sanimaid promises, that use of chemicals are unnecessary for cleaning – just water. Therefore they were put to use immediately in our shower with a brass armature, which needs to be wiped off after each shower. The cloth is still there today, and after first wash it is still nice and soft. It dries up all the water and has a really good suction ability.

"We have used it on different materials... results are amazing everywhere."

As seen in the before and after pictures below, the effectiveness of the cloth is rather obvious. We have at no occasions used anything else than water to clean with. We have used it on different materials, except wood, and the results are amazing everywhere. It is almost bacteria free, and we can definitely smell that – meaning no smell whatsoever. The cloth itself seems to be of great quality.

We are very pleased at home, and would like to buy more.
We only wish  they came in less powerful colors, but naturally that is a matter of taste.”

Trine's assesment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
Microfiber cloths are indispensable in every home.

Quality/longevity: VERY GOOD
I am thrilled to clean without the use of chemicals.

Price: GOOD
They might be a bit pricey for cloths, but i have been using them for a month now, and feel no need to throw them out yet, so it is a great investment, when they last long term.

Anne & Frederik:

“In my home lives a neat freak – it’s not me, but Frederik. So when we were allowed to test Sanimaids microfiber cloths, we said yes.

The abilities of the cloths peak for themselves.

1. Antibacterial effect
2. No chemicals necessary
3. No bad smell
4. Washable at 50 degrees

It’s dense quality is nice and collects dust and fluids very easily.

"We have tested them for 5 weeks now, and they still look new."

Due to the two colors, we use one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen. And i am a major fan of the fact that we  are saving the environment by reusing the same cloth over and over again – since they are washable – instead of disposable.

The silver ion technology, which kills 99% of bacteria ensures the cloths not smelling like old sour dish cloths.

The neat freak has approved the Sanimaid microfiber cloth as the cloths used in our home.”

Anne's and Frederik's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
everybody cleans occasionally, so why not choose a cloth that reusable and 99% bacteria free – that works!

Quality/longevity: GOOD
Thick, nice, and soft. Eventually they must be exchanged, but not nearly as often as normal cloths. we have tested them for 5 weeks now, and they still look new.

Price: GOOD
Slightly higher price than other cloths, but since they last so much longer, and clean so much better, why not spend that difference?

Nadja says:

“Several years ago i discovered that microfiber cloths are much better for cleaning than regular dish cloths. So i didn’t expect much of these Sanimaid cloths, cause isn’t a microfiber cloth just a  microfiber cloth? NO, it turned out – this cloth is really something special!

"... the cloth doesn't smell bad after use"

Just the feeling of it is different from the cloths i normally buy at the supermarket. It is much thicker and softer to the touch, and it has been treated with silver ions, which is a technology known to kill 99% of all bacteria.
This also means that the cloth doesn’t smell bad after use.

"... really BEAUTIFUL results with clean, shiny surfaces."

Suction ability is high, so dust, dirt, and fluids are easily cleaned, and leaves tremendous results
– and here we are talking really BEAUTIFUL results with clean, shiny surfaces.”

Nadja's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
You need cloths in your home, so why not have some that are really good?

Quality/longevity: VERY GOOD

A really nice cloth in great quality that lasts wash after wash.

Price: VERY GOOD
Compared to the quality, they are low priced.

Linda tells:

“Together with the test family, I was allowed to test the new microfibre cloths from Sanimaid.” the colors caught my eye a little – red and blue – i am not a fan of colors. Sanimaid microfiber cloths should be a hygienic choice as they are treated with silver ions that supposedly kill 99.9% of bacteria. Furthermore, it also helps them not smell – I think we all know the smell of a sour dish cloth and it is not very delicious! The antibacterial effect lasts throughout the life of the cloth. The cloths measure 32 × 30 cm and are available as previously written in 2 different colors. They are made of 87% Polyester and 13% Polyamide. They can be used again and again and washed after use at max 50 degrees.

Verdict: I am pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the cloth – they are solid in the fabric and even after a few washes the colors are still nice. However, I wish they could be available in other colors. I do not find that they stand out significantly from other microfiber cloths on the market. They have a good absorbency and remove fine dust and light dirt – and they are very eminent for cleaning various screens on TV, iPads etc, as well as luminaires in the kitchen and bathroom. They can be used in both dry and moist conditions. I have mainly used the cloths for cleaning and not for everyday use, therefore I cannot say if they are odorless.

Linda's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
one uses cloths for many things in the home – they are indispensable both for daily cleaning, but also when the house needs the very large cleaning trip.

Quality: GOOD
So far, I think the product lives up to my expectations.

Price: GOOD
2 rags for 49.95. I think that’s an okay price considering they can be used over and over again. Overall, I thought Sanimaid has made some pretty good rags. They feel soft and thick in quality, even after several washes

Nora explains:

“The most remarkable about these cloths is that no chemicals are required for cleaning, since they have an antibacterial effect.
Even after washing them at 50 degrees they are reusable.
They feel thicker and softer than the regular microfiber cloths we have in the drawer.

"If you want to make cleaning a joyous act, look into Sanimaid's products."

I tested it on our white sofa table. in the right light i could see the dust particles and dirt before using the cloth. this made it easy to see the effect after use. The suction effect, and quality of the cloth really sucks up dust and dirt, and makes it possible to clean with superb results.

It became the favorite cloth in my home, and best of all, it is easy on the environment, since it is free of chemicals.

If you want to make cleaning a joyous act, look into Sanimaids products.”

Nora's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
Everyone would benifit from this product, and it fits into every home.

Quality/logevity: VERY GOOD
The Sanimaid microfiber cloths are reusable, and thereby easy on the environment. And they surely kill bacteria – even after being washed.

Price: GOOD

Mia explains:

"The cloths are better for the environment and for our children, since you don't need chemicals."

“The cloths’ dense quality makes the suction ability very high. This made them ideal for our kitchen table and bathroom sink, which is made of the material Corestone. This due to the fact that the cloths don’t leave stripes on surfaces (which is normally difficult on this material). Therefore they are also good for dusting around the house without leaving marks and stripes – and even without use of chemicals – which is remarkable when we have a baby in the house, who investigates everything with his mouth 🙂

The cloths are treated with silver ions, which kills 99% of all bacteria, meaning it doesnt smell bad after use. Of course you cannot leave it lying around for days after cleaning up after dinner – cause then smell is inevitable. But it takes much longer for these cloths to inherit a smell, than for traditional microfiber cloths.

"... cleaning is much less time consuming with these cloths, because they don't leave stripes, and you will also save money on chemicals."

The only disadvantage for these cloths are their color – they are red and blue – so we don’t want them hanging in plain sight in our kitchen, where we otherwise love to use them.

The advantage with the two colors is that you can use one for bathroom and one for kitchen, and distinguish between them. That is great hygiene! But we hope they produce them in grey and black in the future.”

Mie's assessment:

Usability: VERY GOOD
We clean very often, so these cloths are incredibly useful. The cloths are better for the environment and for our children, since you don’t need chemicals.

Quality: VERY GOOD
during the 4 weeks we have tested the cloths, there are no visible sign of use. They still maintain their clear color. The only disadvantage is that you may only wash them at 50 degrees to maintain the antibacterial treatment of silver ions.

Price: VERY GOOD
We think you receive great abilities for the price – and cleaning is much less time consuming with these cloths, because they don’t leave stripes, and you will also save money on chemicals.
Compared to other microfiber cloths they are actually quite cheap.

Karina explains:

“I received a package, with 2 microfiber cloths in. One in red and one in blue. The cloths consist of 87% polyester and 13% polyamide. They measure 32 × 32 cm. The cloths are soft and have an antibacterial effect, they kill 99% of all bacteria as the cloths are treated with silver ions. ”Therefore, you do not need to use detergents when cleaning the cloths. It’s really nice that the cloths come in two different colors so you can easily tell the difference. I have used the red for cleaning the bathroom and the blue for the kitchen. However, it could be cool if the cloths could also be purchased in more neutral colors, possibly. Dark gray / light gray.

"you do not need to use detergents..."

I’m impressed with how well the cloths suck fluid and how soft they are, even after washing them a few times. I just had to get used to not having to use detergents with the cloths. But definitely an advantage if we think about looking after the environment a little better. I’ve used the cloths for a little bit of each, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, here they do really well. I also used the cloth dry, to wipe the dust off, with a really good result. And last but not least, I used the cloth to dry milk from the table after my son spilled. And it was also a great success. Usually when I dry up, the cloth has to be twisted many times, but in this case the cloth absorbs really well.”

Karina's assessment:

Usability: GOOD
a clean and neat home is delicious. And when you think about the environment at the same time, I am happy.

Quality: GOOD – Still delicious soft even though they have been washed a few times. So the quality is really nice.

Price: GOOD
for 2 pieces of microfiber cloths, it’s a really nice price.
